Silja Europa is Back in Helsinki

One of Europe’s largest ferries was already painted in the red color of Silja Line’s fiercest rival Viking Line that never got it because of financial problems. The ferry with world’s first floating McDonald’s was the second to arrive on location when M/S Estonia sank with 852 people.

In January Silja Europe came back to Helsinki for a Tallinn route after a long stint between Turku (Åbo) and Stockholm. Turku was once Finland’s capital and earlier also Sweden’s second largest city.
