Here is some background for the story: Havis Amanda statue is decorated with a wreath every year by JCI Havis Amanda Helsinki ry. It’s a tradition going back 10 years – as long as the Junior Chapter in question has excisted. We are the only women chapter in the whole Europe. Wreathing Havis Amanda statue takes place after the Annual Gala, at which the new president is inaugurated. Her first task as the new president is to show respect to the statue. Needless to sey that the chapter was named after her. :)
