Jet Trainers of the Finnish Air Force: Fouga Magister, MiG-15 UTI and Hawk
All jet trainers that have been used by the Finnish air force flew together at Turku Airshow 2015.
French Fouga Magisters were used to train Finnish Air Force pilots between 1958–88.
MiG-15 UTI planes were bought to make the transition from Fouga Magisters to much more modern MiG-21 fighters easier for the pilots.
Currently all Finnish F/A-18 Hornet pilots train first with BAe Hawks.
